Bath time is always an interesting time for all types of babies, but especially fur babies. Phil’s parents spend more than 7 minutes of this video just trying to simply get Phil into the tub.
According to Phil’s parents it has been at least two months since the last time Phil has had a bath, and his nice furry coat is a little dirty.
Phil’s parents say that Phil loves to get dirty and takes every opportunity to find ways to get as filthy as he can.
You can see in the video that Phil has absolutely zero interest in getting into the bath tub. He isn’t moved by praise, treats, or promises. At one point Phil sits in the corner with his head towards the wall and simply ignores the pleading of his parents.
Each time that they get Phil to move from the corner he simply tries to hide himself somewhere else which is hilarious because the bathroom is small and Phil is so large. You can tell that Phil wants no part of taking a bath, and at one point starts to whimper.
After about seven minutes or so they finally get Phil to at least put his front paws into the tub. Shortly thereafter Phil gets into the tub completely.
Phil is given a thorough bath where he is scrubbed from head to toe with shampoo. Phil’s dad works fast to try and get Phil washed and rinsed before he can shake himself dry. Getting Phil rinsed is a job itself.
When the bath is over and Phil is able to get out of the tub he immediately escapes the bathroom so he can shake himself dry to the consternation of his parents. Phil is quickly ushered outside where he goes outside and shakes himself, and rubs up against a wall to get dry.
